For students in grades 6-12

TC Students

Middle and high school students are not just the future of the church—they are a vital part of it today. At Tates Creek Students (grades 6-12), we’re building a community of faith where young people can grow spiritually, connect with friends, and make a difference in the world. Through worship, small groups, and service opportunities, we’re helping students navigate life with a foundation of faith and purpose.

Sunday Mornings

Every Sunday at 9:30 AM, students in grades 6-12 gather in the Lounge on the third floor for a time of worship, fellowship, and teaching. With songs, engaging messages, and opportunities to connect, Sunday mornings are designed to inspire and challenge students to grow in their faith.

Sunday Evenings

Sunday nights (6 PM - 8 PM) are all about food, fun, and small groups. Students come together for dinner, games, and meaningful conversations with friends and leaders. No pressure, no performances—just a welcoming space where students can be themselves, share honestly, and grow closer to God. Small groups meet at church and are divided by age and gender:

Middle School Girls
High School Girls
Middle School Boys
High School Boys

Wednesday Nights

Join us midweek for Refresh on Wednesday nights from 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM. Whether it’s Bible study, fellowship, or serving together, this time is a chance to deepen your faith and recharge in the middle of the week.

Meet Our Student minister

Nathan Campbell

Nathan, originally from Indiana, has been serving as the Student Minister at Tates Creek Christian Church since 2019, working with 6th-12th grade students. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Bible and Ministry from Kentucky Christian University and a Master’s degree in Worship Studies from the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies. When he's not at church, Nathan enjoys watching soccer, playing video games, and hanging out with friends.

Our High School students had the BEST time at CIY Move this week! From learning about the “rest” of our lives and what it means to find rest in Jesus, to zip lining and late night cookout runs, it was an incredible week. We can’t wait to see our students continue to grow and walk with Jesus!

We loved getting to partner with the student ministries from Northeast Christian Church, Southside Church of Christ, and Christview Christian Church for a weekend of fun! This year, we dove into Paul’s transformation, and how his encounter with Jesus changed him in every area of his life. What was your favorite part??
