Fun at TC Kids

At TC Kids, we create spaces where faith and fun come together. From engaging lessons and worship to interactive activities, we’re passionate about helping kids experience God’s love and grow in their faith. Every Sunday is an opportunity for your child to discover more about Jesus, make friends, and build a faith foundation that will last a lifetime

Safety First

Your child’s safety is our top priority. Every family begins at our Front Porch check-in area, where kids receive a secure check-in tag before heading to their age-appropriate classrooms. Each space is led by our amazing TC Kids House leaders who are trained, background-checked, and passionate about serving children. You can trust that we’ve created a safe and welcoming environment where your kids will thrive.

Teaching

Every week, TC Kids brings the Bible to life in a way that kids can understand and enjoy. From worship to teaching, we aim to make God’s Word practical and engaging. Our caring leaders love Jesus and are dedicated to helping your child know Him, follow Him, and live out His truth every day.

Fun Space

We believe growing in Christ should be fun! From newborns to 5th graders, TC Kids provides age-appropriate games, activities, and lessons that keep kids excited to come back week after week. Whether it’s singing, crafting, or playing, every moment is designed to help kids learn about Jesus in a joyful, memorable way.

What to Expect

Do I need to register my child before they attend?
Yes, we ask all families to register their child before attending TC Kids for the first time. This helps us ensure your child’s safety and allows us to connect with you easily. You can register at the Kid's Check-In area when you arrive on Sunday morning or online here.
Where is the TC Kids Ministry located?
The TC Kids Area is located on the 2nd floor of our church building. Friendly and experienced volunteers at the Check-In Area will be happy to guide you to the right place!
How does check-in and check-out work?
For your child’s safety, we use a secure check-in and check-out system:

Check-In: Stop by the Kids Check-In Area on the 2nd floor, where you’ll check in your child and receive a printed tag. Your child will wear their tag, and you’ll keep the matching parent tag for pick-up.

Check-Out: After service, return to the kids area with your parent tag to pick them up safely.
When does the TC Kids Ministry meet?
TC Kids meets every Sunday at 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM. We offer fun, engaging lessons and activities for children from newborns to 5th grade during both services.
What kind of events do you have for kids?
We host exciting events throughout the year, including:

Vacation Bible School (VBS): A week of fun, faith, and adventure for kids of all ages.

Bluegrass Christian Camp: A great opportunity for kids to make friends, grow in their faith, and have an unforgettable summer experience!

Who will be with my child during TC Kids?
Your child will be cared for by our amazing TC Kids leaders and volunteers. All leaders and volunteers are background-checked, screened, and trained to provide a safe, loving environment where kids can grow in their faith.
What should my child bring?
Your child doesn’t need to bring anything—we’ll provide everything they need for a fun and meaningful time. Just come ready to have fun, learn about Jesus, and make new friends!

Meet Our Kids Director

Dawn Vela

Dawn was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She and her husband, Robert, have four children and three grandchildren. They love anything that involves spending time together as a family; camping, movies, trips etc. Family is a gift and they enjoy it to the fullest. Dawn has a passion for equipping, encouraging and supporting families as they learn about Christ and lead their own children in a relationship with Him!
