The coffee was delicious, the space was unique and fun to check out, and the staff could not have been more helpful and kind. Reflecting on God's faithfulness in 2024 here at Tates Creek! What a year it was! From baptisms to new partnerships, we’ve seen God move in powerful ways. Here's a look back at just a few of the beautiful things He did: 1️⃣ Tates Creek celebrated 79 years of God’s faithfulness! 2️⃣ We witnessed 17 life-changing baptisms. 3️⃣ Welcomed 23+ new members into our church family. 4️⃣ Grew deeper in prayer, with three unique prayer experiences and Sunday morning prayer gatherings. 5️⃣ Our Women's Ministry hosted their first-ever "Fight Like a Girl" Self-Defense Seminar. 6️⃣ We strengthened our partnership with Step by Step this year and heard from their Executive Director, Tanya Torp, at the Women's Christmas Tea. 7️⃣ We unveiled our new road sign – check it out next time you’re here! 8️⃣ We were blessed to give over $100,000 from our largest anniversary offering to date to Blue Grass Christian Camp and a ministry training center in Ethiopia. 9️⃣ Had a MESSY, but wonderful VBS with our kids! 🔟 We prayed over the International Conference on Missions and had the privilege of hosting its president, Andrew Jit. God has done so much, and we are filled with anticipation for all that He will continue to do in 2025. Join us this Sunday as we reflect on the incredible ways God moved in 2024 and look forward to all He has in store for 2025. We can’t wait to see you there!

However, this season of pumpkins, delicious turkey, and changing leaves, should drive us to evaluate the current state of our gratitude. It should cause us to reflect on all that God has continued to provide. As we continue through the month of November, we will be looking to this month's edition of The Current Magazine to walk us through a time of reflection and thanksgiving. This year, we celebrated 79 years of Tates Creek Christian Church. With that, we collected a special Anniversary Offering that would be split between two special mission partners: Blue Grass Christian Camp & The Weeks Family and their work in Ethiopia. Last week, we celebrated 79 years of Tates Creek Christian Church! We are so thankful for our church family and the impact Tates Creek has had on many in our community and beyond. We have seen lifelong friendships formed, community built, marriages blossom, and lives changed. This celebration is not about what we have done, but about what God has done in and through our church over the last 79 years. Praise the Lord! We are ONE MONTH AWAY from our Women's Christmas Tea! 🎄❤️ Our annual Women’s Christmas Tea, “The Strength of a Woman” will be on December 7 from 12 pm-2 pm. This November, we want to devote time each week to give thanks to the Lord because we believe that as Christians, a heart of giving thanks shouldn't be confined to a single Thursday in November. However, this season of pumpkins, delicious turkey, and changing leaves, should drive us to evaluate the current state of our gratitude. It should cause us to reflect on all that God has continued to provide. As we continue through the month of November, we will be looking to this month's edition of The Current Magazine to walk us through a time of reflection and thanksgiving. Recently, they have packed "go bags" for @juliusmarksjaguars, created craft kits for @sbslex, helped with donuts at @juliusmarksjaguars book fair week with parents, built supplies for OCC, packed bags for @rmhclexington Lunches of Love, and more! Don't forget to grab a shoebox from the church lobby, fill it with goodies for the kids, pray over it with your family, and return it by November 10! We are hoping to reach our goal of 350 boxes this year. That will be an opportunity for 350 children to hear about Jesus!

🌟 Volunteer Spotlight 🌟 Meet Mary! Mary has been a member of Tates Creek Christian Church for 38 years. She was even married here! Mary is one of the leaders for the 23/39-year-olds small group! She also serves on the Security Committee as well as helps with some exciting Women's Ministry Activities. Mary also serves on the Second Service Worship team, which she loves! "Serving at TCCC has given me a wonderful opportunity to work with and learn from some of the finest people I know. The concept of church family becomes very real when you invest, or others invest, in you or the lives of those around you. It really isn’t about how much time you spend serving at church but the love, devotion, and care you bring while serving." #NextSteps

We ❤️ OCC! Our staff had the opportunity to pack 30 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child together on Monday! HUGE thank you to Kim and Jenni for preparing and organizing our packing party and teaching us more about OCC. Join the OCC fun and help to give children across the globe access to the gospel.
