Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes

October 20 - November 10

The TCCC Women’s Ministry invites our church to join together to pack 225 shoebox gifts for Operation Christmas Child.

A quality shoe box will include a “wow” item such as a stuffed animal, toy

car, ball, or doll along with a few school supplies and hygiene items.  A note

to the recipient is treasured!  OCC brochures are available to provide a boy/

girl label to tape to the top of your box and an envelope for a $9 shipping

donation (write checks to Samaritan’s Purse) which can be placed on top of the contents inside the box.  Remember to pray for the child that will receive your box!

Free boxes will be available in the Main Foyer beginning October 20.  Please return shoeboxes to the Worship Center by November 17.  If questions, contact Shelley Maxwell via email at

Jamie Kimmett

in Concert

November 3, 6:30 pm, no tickets required

Join us for a wonderful evening of music with this young singer/songwriter known for his intimate songs of faith.  As noted on Jamie’s website:  ”his enthusiasm for sharing scripture, and, ultimately, the hope that transformed his own life, spills over into his every interaction.”

Born in Kilmarnock, Scotland, soccer was an important part of his early life and he was scouted by professional clubs. Then came his interest in pop music.  After several encounters from Christians, Jamie finally yielded his life to Christ.  Visit to read his exciting journey of faith.

On his way to a solo ministry, Jamie has opened for such Christian artists as Zach Williams and for KING AND COUNTRY.  We encourage you to go online and listen to some of his songs.  Some examples are “Prize Worth Fighting For” and “Burdens”.

Prayer and Fasting

The TCCC Prayer Focus Ministry is asking for everyone to participate in prayer and fasting once a month for the rest of the year.  Oct 7, Nov 4, and Dec 2.

Our prayer request would be for the following:

-Pray for the salvation of the lost souls here in Lexington and throughout the world.

-Pray for our nation and leaders to make the right decisions.

Information on Fasting:

-Fasting is a discipline and is to be a sacrifice.

-There are many ways to fast and you may choose your own way; for example: give up food, technology, or even certain activities.  Replace these things with prayer.

Join us in praying and fasting together.

"Where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." Matthew 18:20
