The Men's Ministry and Barnabas Ministry will be available to help those who may have small home projects to complete.  This can be inside or outside your home.

Women's Ministry

The Women's Ministry will be busy the next few months.  There are many opportunities to get involved.  See the October newsletter!

Operation Christmas Child boxes are now available at the information desk.  Our goal this year is to pack 250 boxes.  Contact Shelley Maxwell with any questions,  Please help us reach our goal and return your filled box by November 5, 2017.

The Christmas Tea will be on December 2, 2017 at 12 pm in the Multi-Ministry Center.  Join us for this wonderful time of food and fellowship.  Tickets will be available at the information desk on November 5, 12, and 19.  Cost is $10.

We are currently looking for volunteers to be Table Hostesses, Door Greeters, or the decorating team.  Contact

Our next opportunity is helping members of our Swahili congregation.  The Women's Ministry is sponsoring an English as a Second Language (ESL) class beginning in January.  If you have an interest in helping with this, attend an informational meeting on October 28 at 9:30 am.  No formal teaching skills needed.  Contact Becky Child with any questions.  859-312-0078

“How is Our Church Different from Other Denominations?”

Led by John Davis

   Have you ever wondered why our church does things a certain way while other churches are much different?  How is our church different from a Baptist or Catholic, or Methodist church?  What are the reasons and does it really matter?  Come on Wednesday nights this fall as we discuss the distinctive beliefs and practices of the Christian Church. This class will begin on September 20.

“Value-packed Parenting” by Dr. Kevin Leman

Led by Tommy Simpson

   How do you raise rock-solid kids in a pleasure-driven world?  Discussion topics will include talking and listening, self-confidence, anger, discipline, technology, and more.  Workbooks are $9.


“A Living Hope in Christ”

Women’s Study, Led by Jennifer Davis

  Come discover what it means to experience the Living Hope we have in Christ.  Key themes of humility, submission, and identity in Christ will be discussed in this study of 1 Peter.  Workbooks are $13.


“Hands and Feet Ministry” Matthew 25:35-40

   What does it mean to be the hands and feet of Jesus?  Each week, participants will invest themselves in a choice of community outreach ministries demonstrating their love for God by pouring themselves into the lives of others.
